Kay Lyndahl is our Volunteer of the Week!
Kay Lyndahl has volunteered her services to the community and to Bellin Hospital since 1989. Kay continues to be an active part of the Bellin Health System, volunteering over 21,000 hours to date. Kay is devoted to her duties as a volunteer and takes personal interest in supporting the Bellin Volunteer Newsletter as editor. Kay is a member of the Auxiliary, holding office of President and helping to support many fundraising activities. With her assistance, many scholarship funds were able to be established. These scholarships have benefited students in many areas, including the Bellin College of Nursing, which to this day has a scholarship fund founded by the Auxiliary to assist students in need. Through the leadership of Kay and the Auxiliary, funds were also made available to the School of Radiology and NWTC Educational Foundation. She actively seeks what needs to be done and then devises the best method to get it done. Kay's dedication to Bellin is nothing short of amazing and our community continues to benefit from her generosity.
Thank you, Kay, for continuing to inspire those around you!

The Brown County Library system provides all residents of Brown County access to information and ideas from throughout the world in support of lifelong education, cultural enrichment, responsible citizenship, leisure activities, and economic development. The library also contributes to this storehouse of knowledge by maintaining information unique to the area and its residents.
The Brown County Library System, the first county-wide system in the state of Wisconsin, was created in 1968 when the Kellogg Public Library in Green Bay and the De Pere Public Library combined to give all county residents easier access to library materials and services.
In 1980 and 1993, the Brown County Library was named Wisconsin Library of the Year and in 1994, Library Journal and Gale Research Inc. recognized the library’s effective, diverse and efficient service to the community by naming the library, National Library of the Year.
Today, the Brown County Library System, comprised of a Central Library, eight branches and bookmobile, serves over 80% of the households in Brown County, circulates over 2.3 million materials annually and supports lifelong education, cultural enrichment, leisure activities, and economic development by providing access to informational and educational resources. Getting to the library is convenient as most county residents can travel to any location within twenty minutes driving time.
