Marilyn Batey has been volunteering with the Bay Area Humane Society for over 7 years and has logged over 2400 service hours!  Marilyn volunteers 3 days a week counseling customers on cat adoptions.  Because she knows every cat on their adoption floor, she is able to pair the right owner with each cat.

Marilyn has impacted the quality of care provided for animals in-house as well as in her home as a foster parent.  She is also an important aspect of the customer service team and prides herself on the level of care she provides to each person who comes through the doors of BAHS.

Marilyn embodies the spirit of volunteerism by setting the bar high for other volunteers with her knowledge of their mission and dedication to their cause.

Bay Area Humane Society would like to thank you, Marilyn, for your endless dedication to not only the animals but also to the staff and customers.  They couldn't do what they do without volunteers like you!
