Tiffany Polzin
is our volunteer of the week as well as our WPS Volunteer in Education Award Recipient!
Tiffany has been providing outstanding volunteer services to students and staff in the Denmark School District over the last several years. This is just one of the many organizations Tiffany devotes her time to. At the Denmark Elementary School, she volunteers as a teacher's assistant in arts and crafts summer school classes, helping students create their best work by providing individualized attention and support.
The Denmark School District provides educational programming to all students regardless of ability. Tiffany provides tutoring support for the students at Denmark's elementary schools which helps at-risk students maintain engagement in the educational program and find success in their academic work. She makes a difference in their life by helping them realize they, too, can achieve success.
Tiffany helps students who need academic support that cannot be provided within the regular school day schedule. Moreover, she meets the needs of several students who might otherwise not receive individual attention within the summer school program. Tiffany's willingness to volunteer to help their middle school band program has been a tremendous help. With over 250 students in the band, there is not enough time for the one instructor to conduct lessons with all of the students before, during and after school.
Tiffany has grown tremendously throughout her years of service. She has always had a giving heart, but she has learned what that giving can do for others by uplifting them and
helping them grow. She gives selflessly, doing for others simply because she enjoys it. Tiffany's natural talent coupled with her heart for volunteerism, augmented by her gregarious personality are highly respected by her peers and teachers. She garners tremendous respect and praise from those who know her just by being herself.
Tiffany continues to inspire those around her to be better leaders through her humility, grace, compassion, and perseverance to always offer her best in everything she does.
Thank you Tiffany for making a difference in our youth through your volunteerism!
