Rebuilding Together of Greater Green Bay Board of Directors is an all volunteer group that manages all aspects of Rebuilding Together's work to repair and improve the safety of local homes for low-income elderly, disabled or veteran homeowners. For the past 20 years, this group of volunteers recruits homeowners who need assistance through city offices, government organizations, their own website and the local media.
The board members meet monthly from September through June to ensure that each year's projects are completed. In addition to board meetings, each member is either an officer or on a sub-committee. The Rebuilding Together board of directors has been instrumental in assisting homeowners stay safely in their homes for many years. The group has worked with over 800 homeowners during the application and review process. the group has been responsible for the home improvements for over 250 clients. This work has allowed many seniors, disabled individuals and veterans to stay safely and securely in their homes.
Because of the Rebuilding Together board of directors, many homeowners have been able to extend the time that they are able to enjoy the American dream of owning and living in their own home. this all volunteer group helps bridge the gap for homeowners who can manage to live independently on a day to day basis but just require some assistance with the larger and more expensive projects.
Many times after the project is over, the homeowner is so tired, overwhelmed or just in shock that they are unable to express themselves. Often, the project leaves the homeowner so overjoyed that they can only cry to express their appreciation.
Thank you Rebuilding Together of Greater Green Bay for helping make our community a better place to live!
