The Zeta Omega Tau Sorority sisters have been volunteering with Golden House since 2013. Originally, they began to help with the children who stay there by looking after them while their mothers attended a weekly support group.  The sorority sisters now come in small groups twice a month and do whatever is needed for each individual child, whether it is playing a game, drawing a picture or sometimes just sitting in a rocking chair with them and making them feel safe.

The sorority has also been part of the annual All That Glitters event hosted by Golden House every fall for the past two years. This fundraiser helps raise money to provide support and healing to women that use their services. In addition, the sorority sisters have helped at their annual Phone-A-Thon for the past two years and started a web page to raise money to purchase totes to fill with special items to give to women in the shelter.

Thank you, Zeta Omega Tau Sorority sisters, for your service and commitment to the community!
