Circles of Support is a small group of volunteers who meet weekly or more with men and women released from prison to assist them in making a successful transition from incarceration to the community. They create a partnership with transitioning people, offering positive social interaction and accountability and the opportunity to jointly develop plans to help these individuals become productive citizens.

Research and experience show that community support during the first 6-12 months after release is critical to an ex-offender's successful reintegration. Through their work, Circles of Support volunteers promote community safety and help reduce the likelihood of recidivism. Statewide, more than 97% of offenders will return to the community where they offended. Circles of Support has a recidivism rate of under 2% thanks to volunteers!

Thank you, Circles of Support volunteers, for your commitment to these members of our community!
