Since 2018, it has raised more than $17 million to strengthen organizations across Brown County. Each year, money raised by the organizations during Give Big is increased because of the funds donated by the Green Bay Packer organization and the Greater Green Bay Community Foundation, giving them a powerful platform to share their stories, reach new supporters, and amplify their impact. Last year's participating nonprofits raised an average of $70,000 each—three times more than those in larger giving days nationwide. | | |

Lindsay Immel is our volunteer of the week!
Lindsay and her therapy dog Tucker volunteer their time visiting various assisted living and memory care facilities in the Green Bay area. They spend time with patients, giving them a sense of normalcy and relief from pain or anxiety, while encouraging active engagement by using the natural bond between humans and animals to enhance emotional, psychological, and physical wellbeing. Lindsay and Tucker have been spreading smiles for more than three years. Observers say there's something magical about the way Tucker lights up a room and brings comfort to those who need it most.
In addition to volunteering with Tucker, Lindsay is highly engaged with a handful of nonprofits through her job, and she works to encourage others within her company to get involved. She also volunteers her time by serving on committees for several local nonprofits, including Curative Connections and New Community Shelter.
Lindsay inspires people with her selflessness and desire to bring joy to others. Whether through volunteering herself, coordinating events at her organization, or advocating for important causes, her efforts help create a stronger, more positive community. Thank you, Lindsay, for everything you do that's making a lasting impact!
