If you spend any time in one of our waiting rooms on any given day, you are likely to hear multiple languages from all over the world. Going to the doctor can be nerve wracking on its own. Imagine if you and your doctor couldn't speak the same language.
Luckily, we are able to bridge the language divide thanks in large part to our volunteer interpreters.
Volunteer interpreters help guide patients through their appointments and relay vital information about things like treatment plans and medications.
To put it simply, we could not serve the diverse population we see without our excellent bilingual volunteers.
However we need more volunteers. Our primary language needs are Spanish, Arabic, and Portuguese.
