Volunteer Lake County! and Regional Volunteer Center to Merge
As you may have heard, Lake Area United Way and United Way of Porter County are merging into one organization, United Way of Northwest Indiana. We are working diligently and strategically to make sure that we are bringing the best of both organizations to the table, and that includes volunteering. Over the next few months we'll be working to consolidate the Regional Volunteer Center and Volunteer Lake County! websites so that you'll have one, one stop shop for volunteer opportunities across Northwest Indiana.
We'll keep everyone updated on the progress of the merger, but in the meantime feel free to explore both sites for opportunities. You can view the Regional Volunteer Center's site HERE and Volunteer Lake County! HERE. We'll also be asking for your feedback in the coming weeks on your experiences with both sites to help us decide which platform to use moving forward.
