Transforming Disruption to Impact:  Rethinking Volunteer Engagement for a Rapidly Changing World.

Thursday, June 22, 2023
2 pm – 3 pm

The events of 2020 began a disruption like never seen before. While previous disruptions saw us rolling up our sleeves volunteering in record numbers, the COVID-19 pandemic restricted traditional volunteering truly challenging our profession.  Some put their engagement strategies 100% on hold, others saw a dramatic increase in demand for services and we all continue to face disruptions due to challenging economies, civil unrest, and more.

Which path did you take? Transforming Disruption to Impact captures the many ways and different mechanisms we used to engage people in volunteer service. Whether working in nonprofit, government, corporate responsibility or for a better community, let’s get inspired to make the most of these new times and discover how the profession is moving forward in this rapidly changing world.

Buy the book from your favorite local retailer or on-line. Book costs up to $28 (new) or $9.99 (Kindle). Read the book and reflect on the disruptions past and present and future. Special guests are Beth Steinhorn, CVA and Jerome Tennille, CVA, two of the four editors of Transforming Disruption to Impact, will join the conversation.
