Parties for the Parkway Recruiting Committee Meeting
Tuesday, August 13, 3:00 pm to 5:00 pm
at the River Center
Have you been told you throw a great party? Are you connected with an interesting venue or a fantastic restaurant? Is there a party idea you would love to see in the Parties for the Parkway book next year? Would you like to help plan for the 2020 season of Parties?

Our next Parties for the Parkway recruiting meeting is coming right up on Tuesday, August 13, from 3:00 pm to 5:00 pm, at the River Center. This is an opportunity for you to make a difference with the Parties for the Parkway Program.

Join us to brainstorm about new party ideas or themes, venues, hosts, entertainers, and food providers. Planning for a fun season of Parties is often like putting a puzzle together: several people each taking on a "piece" of a party to make it whole.

If you are excited about this opportunity and would like to attend, please RSVP to Finn Telles, Director of Business Development at ftelles@riverparkway.org or 559-248-8480 ext. 216. Don't worry if you can't make it to this meeting, you can still get involved with Parties for the Parkway planning. Please contact Finn for more information.

We will meet at the River Center located at 11605 Old Friant Rd in Fresno.

Volunteers Needed for the Harvest Home Festival
Saturday, September 14, between 10:00 am and 8:00 pm
at the River Center
The Harvest Home Music Festival was so successful last year that it is back again with a line-up of local and regional bands for your listening pleasure.

This is an all-day event and we are recruiting volunteers to cover shifts starting from set-up at 10:00 am to breakdown ending at 8:00 pm. There will be a variety of opportunities to volunteer throughout the day.

Volunteers are especially needed for event set-up, parking, and breakdown. This is a great opportunity for groups that need service hours or individuals who wish to volunteer.

As an event volunteer, you will receive free entry and the opportunity to enjoy the program before or after your volunteer shift. All volunteers will be required to check in at the Volunteer table and wear a volunteer badge during the event.

For additional information, please contact Finn Telles, Director of Business Development at ftelles@riverparkway.org or by phone at 559-248-8480 ext. 216.
