SVdP Fashion Show Held November 4th, 2023

SVdP's Fashion Show was a big success, with a sold-out event! 140 guests enjoyed a delicious lunch and program at the SSPP Family Life Center. Gorgeous clothing, donated by area residents, was modeled by our beautiful volunteers, and available for sale in the Thrift Store the week after the event. The total revenue generated from the fashion show was $13,300 (from ticket prices and an auction) and will benefit our Food Pantry. Thank you to all who helped plan and execute this event and also to those who attended!

The full-page graphic shown below was posted in the Saints Peter and Paul Parish Bulletin over Veteran's Day weekend. We wanted to share this with others who may not have seen it...

Save the Date!

The next Vinnie and Pat's dinner will be held on Thursday, March 14th at the SSPP Maria M. Mitchell Social Hall. Watch your email early next year for more details.

Giving Tuesday 2023 - A Global Movement in its 10th Year

GivingTuesday was launched in 2012 to make giving more central in daily life. Last year, more than one billion dollars were donated in the United States.

Today, GivingTuesday is an inclusive and pluralistic community of millions of givers, with activity in every country on every continent.

GivingTuesday was on November 28th. It is not too late to consider a donation to St. Vincent de Paul and watch the difference your dollars make in helping the needy, right here in Talbot County. You can mail a check to us at SVdP, 29533 Canvasback Drive, P.O. Box 783, Easton, MD 21601, or click here to donate online. Thank you!

Thank you to Councell Farms and Easton Club East Men's Day Trippers & SVdP Volunteers

Early morning gleaning at Councell Farms; a combined effort of Easton Club East’s Men’s Day Trippers group and SVdP folks. Most volunteers belong to both organizations. Thank you to both groups and to Councell Farms for generously donating such great fall produce to the Food Pantry!

Food Pantry

It's all hands on deck as we prepare for the arrival of our neighbors! Our dedicated volunteers are always ready to serve, regardless of the weather.

Friday's Food Pantry volunteers getting ready to sort 2,316 pounds of fresh produce for our neighbors. Being able to offer first quality fruits and vegetables reflects the respect that we have for our neighbors.

SVdP volunteers go above and beyond to help! Julie White changed a food pantry neighbor's tire while they were in line for food.

Merry Christmas to All!

Best wishes for a blessed and safe Christmas holiday season, whether you are traveling, or enjoying time at home with family and friends.
