Coaching Quick Tips

Using Read-Aloud Books Effectively

For your Read-Aloud sessions, choose books with themes that inspire discussion. Model thinking out loud to help students make connections and predictions. Encourage participation with open-ended questions, and keep it fun with character voices or acting out scenes to engage them fully. Check out our Vetted Book List for previously approved titles to inspire your next read-aloud.
