Have questions about book levels? Have a student who has been hard to engage? Wondering about the ERP sight word assessment for 2nd graders? Not sure how long is "just right" for sticking with one RAZ book before moving on? You're not alone!

Please join members of the Literations Program Team for drop-in hours to get advice on any program-related questions that may have popped up in the first weeks of sessions and have some great discussions with other coaches and Literations staff.

Emergent Reader Program (ERP) Town Hall (optional)
Friday, December 2nd from 10-11am. If you're serving an ERP student this year, we encourage you to join this Town Hall for a refresher on running the ERP program plus a deep dive into ERP best practices. We promise a fun and engaging time!


Thanksgiving Break
November 23-27. Literations will not be running coaching sessions either at our schools or Boys & Girls clubs Wednesday through Friday during Thanksgiving break.

Managing Student Behavior Workshop (optional)
Thursday, December 15 at 4pm. The second in a series of literacy coach volunteer workshops this school year hosted by AARP Experience Corps

This is our last push for new coaches! We want to serve as many students as possible, so please help us spread the word.

We will have 4 more Virtual Information sessions scheduled this year.

Thursdays at 1:30pm on November 3rd and 17th and December 1st and 15th

A New Program Year
Program Launch 2022-23
Literations is proud to have 190 volunteers serving in 16 program sites in Boston and Framingham this year! Our coaches started sessions at most of our sites in mid-late October, and we have some joyful pictures showing our program in action over the past few weeks.

Congratulations to our coaches, team leaders, and staff for getting off to a great start!
