Are You Ready?!

We're so excited to welcome our volunteers, team leaders, and students back this fall! It's hard to believe, but our coaching sessions are almost here.

This year we have 119 returning coaches and 69 new coaches at 15 sites in Boston and Framingham, and we'll be launching an additional 2 new Framingham sites in December!

Our sincere thanks for all you've done so far to prepare for meeting and supporting students.

Are you ready? Go to THE LINK to review your onboarding steps.

  • Have you completed pre-service training?
  • Have you completed your onboarding paperwork?
  • Have you completed your necessary background check?

If you haven't completed training

Our final live virtual series starts next week. The live training is more impactful, so we encourage you to attend if you haven't attended training yet. Please connect with Liz Y, our Literations trainer, to get the training recordings if you are unable to attend virtually next week. She will also set up a time to connect afterward to answer questions and provide further training support.

Live Virtual Training

Tues-Thurs, Oct 10-12, 10:30am-1:00pm

Volunteer Time and Session Tracking

This year Literations coaches will use the EC HUB to record both your volunteer hours and your sessions with students.

The EC HUB is a digital platform that will be available in early November.

Please keep track of your hours and sessions on the paper tools provided at your site until we train all coaches on the EC HUB and announce that the system is ready to go.

Thank you!
