EVENT INFORMATION

We are currently recruiting volunteers (ages 14-17) to help with the 2023 Trick or Treat event. This volunteer opportunity is located at the Downtown Event Center.

VOLUNTEER INFORMATION

This event is organized by the City of Fremont Recreation Services Division and is a community event for the public. This is a great opportunity to interact and volunteer with the community. Click event flyer above for event details.

Event: Trick or Treat at the Downtown Event Center

Date: Friday, October 20th

Volunteer Time: 4:00pm - 10:00pm*

Check-In Location: City Hall, Building B (map)

Event Location: Downtown Event Center (map)

Volunteer Hours: 6 hours

Volunteer Age: 14-17

# of Spots: 150

Volunteer Tasks

  • Trash Pick Up
  • Assisting With Activities
  • Event Set Up and Clean Up


Please bring a high school service learning form (if applicable).

VOLUNTEER ORIENTATION

There will be a mandatory volunteer orientation online via Zoom on Wednesday, October 18, 2023 from 7:30pm-8:30pm. More details and the meeting link will be sent to volunteers a few days after sign up.

DRESS CODE & COSTUME

This is a Halloween-themed event, so wearing a festive costume is highly encouraged! Please make sure your halloween costume allows you to move around easily and is appropriate, kid-friendly, and not too scary!

  • NO weapons/props or offensive costumes are allowed 
  • NO costume masks that cover the head or face
  • NO short skirts, tutus, bare midriffs, bare shoulders, or low necklines
  • Please follow FUSD dress code guidelines
