Interested in Volunteering? Did you know that the Seniors Job Bank can connect you with volunteer opportunities as well as paid jobs?
Nonprofit organizations can now post volunteer positions on our platform, complementing our core mission of connecting seniors with full-time, part-time, and temporary paid employment. This enhancement reflects the growing interest among our job seekers to contribute to their communities through service, in addition to seeking paid work.
SJB already sends a notification to you when a paid job is posted by an employer within your chosen job categories. Now, you can also be notified of posted volunteer opportunities that match your volunteer job categories.
Here is how to update your job and choose volunteer categories:

Go to www.seniorsjobbankct.org
- Click on the circle – Need A Job
- Click on Registered Jobseeker
- Log into the Seniors Job Bank (your ID is your email address/if you don’t remember your password, you can change it now)
- Review your personal information
- Update your job categories and choose volunteer categories
After step #4, you will be taken to a listing of paid jobs and volunteer opportunities.
Jobs Outreach is our highest priority and we continue to steadily grow both our paid and volunteer job opportunties.
