Youth Basketball (5th/6th grade in 2026, 3rd/4th grade in 2025)

What made you get into volunteering?

Time to be with my kids as well as make a positive impact on other kids and families.

I enjoy juggling as well as teaching others how to juggle.

What’s been your favorite volunteer memory?

The basketball practice when the boys on my team were laughing so hard they had to lay on the ground.

What’s the best advice you can give to someone who has just started volunteering at the Park District?

Smile and have fun as much as you can. The park district programs are intended to bring joy to people’s lives.
