Good news, friends! Presbyterian Disaster Relief grants to Cote Brilliante and Second Presbyterian Church were approved along with an Immediate Response grant for use by the presbytery. The GL Local Disaster Response Team will use the Immediate Response grant for the purchase of supplies and will keep you posted as those donations are organized.
In the meantime, the GL Local Disaster Response Team is asking churches to organize work teams through "The Peoples Response." These folks are organized and on the ground. You will find a variety of volunteer opportunities which are updated daily. Follow the directions above and please send a note to the presbytery letting us know how your community is serving!
