Volunteer!

Community Health Partners

Active volunteers are covered through your existing VRP malpractice policy for all enrolled VRP clinics and events. Contact us here if you have any questions about your VRP status.

Here is the current list of our VRP-approved sites.

Okanogan County

Caring Hands Worldwide will be in Omak September 15th and 17th, with volunteer opportunities for dentists, dental hygienists, and dental assistants. Email Randy Meyer here with any questions and view the volunteer form here.

King County

The next Seattle/King County Clinic will offer dental, medical and vision care and will be held February 15 – 18, 2024 at Seattle Center. They are already doing volunteer outreach. More details can be found here.

2022 Survey Results

The 2022 VRP survey report can be found here. Thank you to all those volunteers and VRP sites that responded. Please remember that completing the survey is a requirement of the program. We hope for an even better response rate for 2023.

License Renewals

For those who have malpractice through our Volunteer and Retired Providers Program (VRP) and are only using your professional license for unpaid work at one of our VRP sites, you can renew your license at no cost. The Department of Health (DOH) Credentialing has requested that renewals be submitted fewer than 90 days before expiration. There has been a change of personnel managing the VRP renewals at the DOH so please direct any questions to Kris Ives here.

Malpractice Insurance

If you were active in the program in 2022, your malpractice insurance auto-renewed in July. Sites and volunteers can request a copy of their updated certificates here.

Information on the program can be found on the Volunteer and Providers Program page.

You are receiving this newsletter due to your enrollment in the Volunteer and Retired Providers (VRP) Program. If you are no longer using the VRP program to support your work or have any questions at all, please contact us.
