Volunteers like Andrew are champions for more than a thousand students in the Cambridge Public Schools each year, bolstering confidence and boosting skills. We believe in the power of these relationships as a foundation for academic and personal growth. We are grateful to be able to offer these free programs to help students like Liz feel seen, supported and successful.

Please join us at this interactive Math workshop that will help new and experienced tutors understand how to engage students in mathematical thinking, build confidence, and develop problem solving skills. 

Thank you to Gypsy Place Coffee for accommodating a Reading Buddies gathering on December 12 for our Fletcher Maynard Academy volunteers. It was a perfect way to end the afternoon after Thursday's session and help build a more connected Cambridge with our amazing volunteers!

We still have an immediate need for tutors at our 5 upper schools listed above. The Learning Center program pairs volunteers with students in grades 6-8 for a weekly tutoring session where volunteers will assist with homework assignments, reinforce study skills, and provide general academic coaching.
