Sign up as a volunteer for the 2025 Children's Water Education Festival!

We’re just a few weeks away from the 2025 Children’s Water Education Festival (Festival), the largest event of its kind in the nation. This award-winning event brings water science to life for thousands of Orange County students through hands-on activities and presentations. Since its inception, Festival has educated over 152,000 children. This year, with over 6,000 students registered, we hope to further our impact, and need your support to make it happen.

Hundreds of volunteers are needed to fill roles including festival guides, registration attendants, and activity aides, just to name a few. Volunteers must be at least 15 years old at the time of their shift. Student volunteers can earn community service hours, and all volunteers will enjoy snacks, lunch, an event t-shirt, and entry into multiple prize drawings.

The Festival takes place April 23–24 at Oak Canyon Park in Silverado, with volunteer shifts also available on set-up day, April 22. The Festival is provided at no cost to Orange County schools, and hosting an event of this magnitude is made possible by the generosity of people like you. We look forward to your participation!
