You can help build the Squannacook River Rail Trail - volunteer on Saturday Nov 2nd
9 am - 1 pm
We have been waiting years to start building this rail trail - be there as it all begins!
Help up starting building the Squannacook River Rail Trail by installing straw wattles in the areas of the rail trail near wetlands. Please bring work gloves and a hammer for putting in wooden stakes. If you can bring a wheelbarrow, that would be helpful for carrying the wattles to where they will be installed. We also need a few hoes. We have over 4000 feet of wattles to install, so we really need your help! Meet at 9 am at the town parking lot on Jefts St behind Memorial Hall in Townsend, MA. This is our last work day in 2019.
