From May 19-21, congregational voting members and visitors will gather at the Irvine Marriott to attend the Pacifica Synod Assembly. During their time together, they will worship, learn, connect and conduct the business of the Pacifica Synod, including the election of our fourth bishop.

A Synod Assembly is not possible without the work of dedicated and faithful volunteers. These volunteers assist Assembly attendees and staff in a wide variety of areas and help make the Assembly experience a positive one.


Volunteers are needed in following areas during our 2022 Pacifica Synod Assembly:
(Please note: It is recommended that Assembly Voting Members NOT serve as volunteers due to their responsibilities during the Assembly.)

  • Registration/Check-In Teams

  • Hospitality Team (General Info, Greeters, Door Check, Guides)

  • Worship Team (Thursday evening/Saturday morning)

  • Communications Team (Photography/Recaps)

  • And More!
