Want to Share the Pro-Life Message with Thousands of Marylanders?
This summer, we have a unique opportunity to bring the pro-life message to thousands of people from across our state and beyond.
Once again, Maryland Right to Life will host an exhibit booth at the Maryland State Fair, one of the largest annual community events in the region.
Over the course of three weekends, tens of thousands of fairgoers will pass through the Exhibition Hall, offering many opportunities to share educational resources, engage in meaningful conversations, and promote a culture of life.
Volunteers Needed
We are seeking motivated, friendly, and dependable volunteers to work three-hour or four-hour shifts at our booth. No prior experience is required—just a willingness to share the pro-life message and the ability to represent Maryland Right to Life with a positive and professional attitude.
As a volunteer, you will help distribute literature, spark conversations, gather petition signatures, introduce visitors to the work of Maryland Right to Life, and speak with individuals who may be hearing pro-life viewpoints for the very first time.
Volunteers will receive a complimentary admission ticket to the Fair in advance. This ticket allows you to enjoy all that the Maryland State Fair has to offer before or after your shift. Each day features exciting attractions, live entertainment, rides, games, delicious food, agricultural displays, and activities for visitors of all ages.

At least 2 volunteers are needed for each shift. If you’re only one person, please sign up and we will find another volunteer to accompany you. We will always have at least two people present at the booth at any given time.
Transportation
The Fair is held at the Maryland State Fairgrounds, located at 2200 York Road in Timonium, Maryland. It is easily accessible by Uber or Lyft, Light Rail, bus, or car.
The Fairgrounds Light Rail Stop is just a short walk from the entrance and the MTA No. 93 bus line serves the Timonium Park and Ride/Light Rail Station. There is parking available if you choose to drive but you are responsible for any parking-related expenses. The admission ticket does not include parking.
Your Impact
By volunteering, you have the potential not only to educate, but also to save lives. A single conversation can touch someone's heart, provide hope to someone facing a difficult situation, connect a pregnant woman with life-affirming resources, or inspire someone to become involved in the pro-life movement. You never know what seeds you may plant!
Unable to volunteer at the Maryland State Fair but still want to support our outreach efforts? Please consider making an online donation to Maryland Right to Life to help us with this outreach effort.

The overall cost to exhibit at the Fair, offer complimentary tickets to our volunteers, and produce high-quality educational materials has increased since last year. Your financial support will ensure the success of this project. Thank you!
More Info
In August, we will hold a volunteer briefing over Zoom to go over logistics before the start of the Fair. In the meantime, please reach out to Andrew (andrew@mdrtl.org) if you have questions or need assistance signing up to volunteer.
