On Monday, we officially filed over 15,000 signatures with the Illinois State Board of Elections to qualify La Shawn K. Ford for Congress. That didn’t happen by chance. It happened because you showed up — in all weather, on weekends, after work, in front of stores, churches, and train stations — talking to neighbors about why this moment matters.
