AITC-SK Around the Province

Engaging Students Across Grades K–12 at Agribition

In partnership with many organizations, we offered incredible learning experiences for students at Canadian Western Agribition. Students had the chance to see animals up close, talk to farmers and ranchers, explore careers in agriculture, and learn about where food comes from.

STEM Comes Alive with Cheesemaking Kits

We piloted this engaging resource developed by AITC - Nova Scotia, and it was an instant hit. Designed for high school Biology and Chemistry classrooms, the hands-on kits flew off the shelves, turning enzymes, bacteria, temperature, and pH into real-world learning. Teachers loved it, and their feedback is shaping refinements as we look ahead.

Trade and Taste Recap

Trade and Taste brought learning to life by helping students understand how food travels from farm to plate and the important role Saskatchewan plays in global trade. Since its launch during CALM 2025, over 300 kits have been distributed, with teachers praising the game for its strong curriculum alignment and meaningful real-world connections.

“My students were so engaged and it met the Social Studies and Science curricula.” — Glenna Pellerin, Grade 3

THANK YOU to the many program host partners, volunteers, and sponsors for making these memorable learning experiences happen. Together, we are cultivating a brighter and stronger future for Saskatchewan agriculture!
