The October issue of our Erie Echo newsletter is being printed this week.
It is crucial that we have a strong turnout of volunteers to prepare the mailing. Our 2nd Annual Pro-Life Dinner is only two and a half weeks away, and we are depending on the newsletter to generate reservations.
The newsletter also has election information that needs to get out in a timely manner.
To make matters even more urgent, our annual Life Run 5K/10K & Fun Walk is this Saturday. That means we cannot begin working on the newsletter until Sunday, after Life Run. (We normally start on Friday evening.)
With a lot of volunteers, it is possible, but not likely, that the newsletter will go in the mail late Monday. Without a good volunteer turnout… we might be in big trouble this time. This is a major concern because volunteer help has been quite scarce over the last several mailings.
If you would like to help save the day, please call (814) 882-1333 or email hq@peopleforlife.org. To be sure, high school students are always welcome to volunteer for service hours.
Here is the tentative schedule, but please contact us before making any definite plans or coming to work.
Sunday, October 12 - 10 a.m. to 9 p.m.
Monday, Columbus Day - 9 a.m. to 9 p.m.
Tuesday - 9 a.m. to ?
