Volunteers Needed For Wills For Heroes Event

The Young Lawyers Division is seeking 18 volunteer attorneys for its Wills for Heroes event on:

Sandoval County Fire and Rescue Administration

Bernalillo, N.M. 87004

(In the Fire Admin Classroom)

Volunteers should arrive at 8:30 a.m. (MT) A prerecorded training session will be provided to watch ahead of time for those who have not volunteered before and/or are unfamiliar with the software.

Using event-provided laptops and standardized templates, Wills for Heroes volunteer attorneys meet with first responders to complete Last Will & Testaments, Powers of Attorney and Advanced Health Care Directives. All volunteers are appreciated and specific expertise in estate planning is not required! This is a limited-legal assistance event with professional liability insurance provided by the YLD.
