Thank You for Celebrating 20 Years of Marian's Attic!

Thank you so much to everyone who joined us for the official 20th anniversary ceremony and proclamation of Marian’s Attic!

We had the chance to honor Marian’s Attic’s first manager and current volunteer Bev, connect with current and former Laurel House and Marian’s Attic staff, volunteers, and community members, and take part in the spectacular summer sales.

Thank you so much to Senator Amanda Cappelletti and State Rep. Tim Briggs for joining us and for your continued support of our mission, and thank you to everyone who helped make Marian’s Attic the shop it is today.

Sales are continuing all summer long, so stop by to find your newest treasure and fund a new start!

In Case You Missed It

Make A Will Month: Learn About Planned Giving at Laurel House

Every day in Montgomery County, someone picks up the phone and calls for help. On the other end, a Laurel House advocate answers. For many people, it is the moment that changes everything.

During National Make-A-Will Month, we're inviting supporters to consider another way to create that kind of lasting impact: by writing a love letter that lasts through an up-to-date will. By creating or updating your will, you can care for your loved ones while creating a plan that reflects the values and causes most important to you.

Laurel House is the legacy of our Founding Mothers' vision for a safe haven for survivors of domestic violence. Become a part of our story today and consider making a Planned Gift to Laurel House.

Executive Director Joins Lt. Governor Davis at Roundtable

Executive Director Stacy Dougherty recently participated in a roundtable with Lt. Governor Austin Davis and other VIP/BOOST funding recipients on community-based violence prevention and out-of-school programs that are helping to keep kids and communities safe. We had the opportunity to share about the work our Community Education Department is doing on teaching students about healthy relationships and ensuring more individuals have access to critical resources!

Laurel House was fortunate to receive VIP/BOOST funding to help us expand our prevention education efforts. We are grateful to Lt. Governor Austin Davis and the Shapiro Administration for all of their support in helping our communities.
