Volunteers should arrive at 1:30 p.m. A pre-recorded virtual training session will be provided to watch ahead of time for those who have not volunteered before and/or are unfamiliar with the software.
Using event-provided laptops and standardized templates, Wills for Heroes volunteer attorneys meet with first-responders to complete Last Will & Testaments, Powers of Attorney, and Advanced Health Care Directives. All volunteers are appreciated, and specific expertise in estate planning is not required! This is a limited-legal assistance event, with professional liability insurance provided by the YLD.
