Our Advancement Office is looking for volunteers who can lend some assistance to our school's fundraising efforts.

We are basically a mom and pop operation with two part-time people working on the Golf Outing, 'e' Blue and Gold newsletters, Annual Fund Drive, Annual Report, recognition such as the NCEA Distinguished Graduate, Hall of Honors, In Nomine Meo, and the Mike Simmons Good and Faithful Servant awards, acknowledging donor gifts, posting gifts, donor research, communication and cultivation, utilizing social media, the Dinner Dance, and Planned Giving.

It's a labor of love but much more could be accomplished with a little extra help.

Area Catholic High Schools like Benet Academy, St. Francis, Marmion, and Providence often have as many as six full-time people assisting their development and advancement efforts.

Do you have experience in technology or graphic arts that would enhance our communication efforts?
Would you be willing to help us update our data base?

Can you make some calls to connect with families and seek information as to what our graduates are doing?

Might you assist with helping prepare planned giving materials?

Are you able to enhance our presence on social media platforms?

If you can lend your talent and expertise in any way, and would be willing to help out occasionally, please contact our Advancement Director, Frank Glowaty, at or call our Advancement Office at 630-718-2134.

Hours are flexible and we'll work with your schedule. You won't be tied down to a set day and time if you want fluidity. Even if you spend winters in Arizona or Florida, there are still nine other months of the year?

When you begin making your New Year resolutions, why not consider helping our Advancement Office?

After all, your efforts will enhance our school, our students our families, and Catholic Education. That might give you much more satisfaction than shedding a few pounds.

Congratulations to Phil Cabrera '67 who will be recognized as this year's Distinguished Graduate recipient at the all school Mass on January 31.

When our school was founded in 1853....

..if families were visiting New York over the Christmas holiday, they would not see the Time Square Ball Drop at midnight on New Year's Eve as the first such celebration occurred in 1904.
