Foster Grandparents special training in July at Starke Elementary in DeLand
The Foster Grandparents are shown attending a training offered by WellCare, in partnership with the National Council on Aging (NCOA), and Volunteers for Community Impact. Grandparents are receiving instructions on how to improve health, have stronger financial security, and a greater overall well-being. It is an interactive program with guest speakers, fun hands-on activities, and group discussions. Grandparents have made new friendships while learning about the gift of living a longer, fuller life!
