Volunteers Needed:
Voice of America Country Music Festival
We're looking for enthusiastic volunteers to represent Dress for Success Cincinnati at the Voice of America Country Music Festival August 6β9!
As a featured charity partner, Dress for Success Cincinnati will have an informational booth where volunteers will help greet festival attendees, share our mission, answer questions about our programs, and spread awareness throughout this exciting community event. We will also have our logo and mission featured on digital signage throughout the event creating awareness of our organization!
Whether you're a country music fan or simply want to support our mission in a fun, energetic atmosphere, we'd love to have you join us!

The Cincinnati Woman's Club Supports Dress for Success Cincinnati
Dress for Success Cincinnati was honored to participate in The Cincinnati Woman's Club's summer programming as guests for a special presentation on "Ageless Aging" at the Club's historic clubhouse.
As Dress for Success Cincinnati continues to expand its reach throughout our community, opportunities like these are invaluable. Connecting with civic organizations, businesses, and community leaders allows us to share our mission, build meaningful relationships, and inspire new volunteers, donors, and advocates. The greater our community awareness, the more women we can serve with the confidence, clothing, and career support they need to thrive.
The partnership was especially meaningful given the rich history shared between our organizations. Mary Ivers, the founder of Dress for Success Cincinnati, was a member of the Cincinnati Woman's Club, along with many longtime volunteers and supporters who have helped shape our mission over the years. We are proud to continue strengthening those connections while building new ones for the future.
Following the presentation, members of The Cincinnati Woman's Club demonstrated their incredible generosity by donating TWO full SUVs of beautiful, high-quality women's clothing. These thoughtful donations will help women throughout our community prepare for interviews, begin new careers, and achieve economic independence. Many of the items will be used in our Styling Studios, while others will find a home in Portaluca Boutique, where every purchase directly supports Dress for Success Cincinnati's mission.
Volunteer & Events Coordinator, Natalie Meyer, and Vice President of Development, Julie Wiedenheft, were grateful for the opportunity to meet so many inspiring women, share the work of Dress for Success Cincinnati, and celebrate the spirit of generosity that has long defined the Cincinnati Woman's Club.
We extend our heartfelt thanks to every The Cincinnati Woman's Club member who contributed to this incredible clothing drive, and a special thank you to Lesley Johnston for inviting Dress for Success Cincinnati to be part of this special program. We look forward to growing what we hope will be a lasting partnership that continues to strengthen and empower women across our community.
Together, we are building connections, expanding our reach, and helping more women achieve economic independenceβone woman, one opportunity, and one partnership at a time.

Help sort, organize, and prepare donations that support our programs, Portaluca Boutique, Mobile Styling Boutique, and fundraising events.

Help women prepare for interviews, employment, and career success through personalized styling appointments.
Extra stylists needed for Cincinnati Cooks styling on August 13th.

Beckfield College Graduate Styling

Wednesday, August 19th 9 am to Noon
We expect 18 women graduates from Beckfield College to receive styling services at our Norwood style studio.

Life Learning Center Style Studio (Covington)
We're excited to re-open our Covington Style Studio!

This Week at Portaluca: $2 (Almost) Everything!
One Last Shopping Day Before Our Boutique Refresh!
We're clearing out Portaluca and making room for exciting new fall merchandise! Stop by Wednesday, July 29th and shop incredible bargains with almost everything just $2 (excluding brown-tagged items).
This will be Portaluca's only day open before we temporarily close for a one-week boutique refresh. We'd love to see youβand we'd love your help making it a fantastic final shopping day!
