Executive Board Meeting Minutes: Sept 6th, 2016

Points of Discussion:

The Volusia-Flagler Dental Association Executive Committee convened at 5:43 PM.

Members Present: Dr. Sandeep Patel (President), Dr. Athas Kometas (Vice President), Dr. Roderick MacIntyre (Secretary), Dr. Roger Thayer (Treasurer), Dr. Greg Johnston, Dr. Dusanka Angelov, Dr. Ray Kenzik, Dr. Bryan Bergens.

Points of Discussion:

1. Dr. Patel motioned to approve the July 21, 2016 minutes.  Dr. Kometas second the motion.

2. Dr. Thayer presented the Treasurer's Report.

3. Dr. Kometas presented the Speaker update for upcoming meetings:

• November 1st, 2016: Dr. John Gammichia - Bringing Sexy Back to Posterior Composites

• December 6th, 2016: Dr. Jeff Sevor - Periodontal Topic TBD

• January 3rd, 2017: Linda Harvey - HIPAA/OSHA Regulations and the Impact on Our Practices

• February 10th, 2017: All-Day McGill Seminar

• March 7th, 2017: Drs. Paul Rang and Skip Stamper - Practice Transitions & How They Happen.

• April 4th, 2017: Mr. Dennis Raposa - Dental Accounting

Dr. MacIntyre motioned to close the meeting, and Dr. Kometas seconded the motion. The motion carried and the meeting adjourned at 6:15 pm.
