As always, I hope this email finds you well, but, unlike other days. I also hope the main point of it is made moot.

Our office is closed today, but it won’t stop me from reminding folks they have a chance to shape how our city is governed by voting in today’s election . If one thinks their vote doesn’t matter, please consider that, due to a low turnout, your vote will matter even more than usual.

So, the polls are open until 9 pm tonight, Tuesday, November 5th. If you don’t know who you'll be voting for, click here , if you don’t know what you’ll be voting for, click here and if you don’t know where t o vote , click here . 

Also, please be aware that unlike today Alternate Side Parking will be in effect tomorrow Wednesday, November 6th. Lastly, since pickup was suspended today, if Tuesday is your scheduled day for trash and compost pickup please put those materials out today after 4 PM so they can be picked up tomorrow, Wednesday November 6th.
