Hosted on September 20th at Washtenaw Community College’s Morris Lawrence Building, the Opioid Summit drew over 80 participants representing dozens of local organizations committed to ending the opioid epidemic. | |

CHRT has been awarded a grant from the Ann Arbor Area Community Foundation to develop and disseminate a report on Non-Emergency Medical Transportation (NEMT) policies and practices. This project evolved from the work the WHI Healthy Aging Collaborative engaged in on transportation needs for older adults. | |

My Community Dental Centers (MCDC) provide quality, compassionate care for adults & children covered by most Medicaid plans, Healthy Kids Dental, MIChild, and most private insurances, as well as low-income uninsured patients. MCDC also has reduced fees for uninsured veterans with proof of service. Learn more.
From mid-November through March, the Shelter Association offers Winter Programs that include a Warming Center at the Delonis Center, the Rotating Shelter, and more. To be referred to any services, please call 734-961-1999. Learn more.
On December 6 from 11:00 AM to 5:00 PM, the American Red Cross will hold a blood drive at the Ypsilanti Freighthouse. Register.

NAMI Washtenaw County offers several support groups for people facing mental health challenges, including parents, young adults, students of color, and family or friends. See all events.
Michigan Medicine offers Mom Power: Zero to Thrive to support mothers experiencing high levels of stress or histories of trauma and adversity. The 10-week program helps mothers form healthy realtionships, find social sopport, and engage with resources and services. Learn more.
The Turner Senior Wellenss Program at the Turner Resource Center enhances quality of life for older adults and their families with learning, health, and wellness programming. Learn more.
