Voter Information: Chicago Run-Off Election
Tomorrow, Tuesday, April 7th, is the Chicago run-off election for mayor and alderman. Here is what you'll need to know about voting on election day: 
  • All voters must vote at the polling place assigned to your precinct. Click here to find your polling place. 
  • All polling places will be open from 6:00am to 7:00pm.  
  • Ballots in the 43rd ward will list the two candidates for mayor and alderman. No other contests or referenda will be on the April 7th ballots.
  • ID is not required to vote. You will only have to present ID if there is a question about your registration. 
  • Under state law, election day registration will not be offered at this election.
  • If you encounter any problems at your polling place, please call the Chicago Board of Elections  at 312.269.7900.
