Dear Students and Families,
Irvington High School and the PTSA are proud to announce that we will be holding a Voter Registration drive for students in school on Monday, October 7 and Tuesday, October 8 from 7:30AM-3:00PM. Please see below for important information.
Where will this take place? The PTSA will have tables set up in the high school atrium.
Who can register?

Students who are or will be 18 years old by election day (Tuesday November 5, 2024).

Students who are at least 16 may pre-register to vote. Their registration will be marked “pending” and they will be automatically registered when they turn 18. We highly encourage all eligible students to pre-register!
What information do students need to provide on the registration form?
- Student’s full name
- Birth date
- Address (including city/town/village, zip code, and apartment number if applicable)
- EITHER
- NY State DMV Number
- Last 4 digits of Social Security number
- Or can select “I do not have a New York State driver’s license or a Social Security number”
- Political Party– Must select one of the following (listed as they appear on the ballot):
- Democratic party
- Republican party
- Conservative party
- Working Families party
- Other _______
- No party
- (Optional) Voter Registration forms also offer the opportunity to register to be an organ donor. Students 16 years of age or older can register.
What will happen to the voter registration forms after students have completed them? All forms will be held in a secure and confidential location and will be hand delivered to the Westchester County Board of Elections.
