Dear Neighbors,
Voting has begun, and it’s that time again! I humbly ask that you head to the polls and cast your ballot, and most importantly, I ask for your trust and vote to continue serving as your State Representative. Our work together is not finished, and I’m excited to continue representing you in Hartford.
There are three ways to vote in Connecticut:
1. In person on Election Day
- Show up at your district polling place from 6 a.m. to 8 p.m.
2. Early Voting
-
Early voting runs from October 21st to November 3rd. You can vote every day at Darien Town Hall or Norwalk City Hall from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., with extended hours on October 29th and 31st (8 a.m. to 8 p.m.).
3. Absentee Ballot – If you meet any of the following criteria, you are eligible to vote via absentee ballot:
- Active member of U.S. Armed Forces.
- Out of town on Election Day.
- Religious beliefs prevent you from voting in person on Election Day.
- Working as an election official at a polling place other than your own.
Please carefully consider the absentee option and remember, your ballot must be received by Election Day, November 5th. Voting early in person is the most reliable way to ensure your vote is counted.
If you are unsure whether you’re registered to vote, you can check your status here. If you haven’t registered yet, you can still register on Election Day through same-day registration. Thank you all again for your support. Let’s make sure our voices are heard so we can continue the work we’ve started together.
Sincerely,
Tracy Marra
