Trafalgar Park Community Centre

Oakville's newest Recreation and Culture facility - Trafalgar Park Community Centre - opens Saturday, September 22 with a full day of free activities for the entire family. The grand opening celebration, which runs from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. will feature drop-in activities, food trucks, family skates and an opportunity to skate with the Oakville Blades. There will also be plenty of time to explore the community centre and the new Fire Station #3 next door.
Kerr St. underpass open house 

After extensive public consultation to select streetscape elements such as benches, light poles, pavers and railings (from the rail crossing, south to Speers Road) for the Kerr Street Underpass Project, we now have some preferred options to share!  Join us at an upcoming open house on September 13 from 6:30 - 8 p.m. at 263 Kerr Street  to learn more.  

Council business at Town Hall 

The next Planning and Development Council meeting is on Monday, September 10 at 7 p.m. Items on the agenda include the Downtown Mitigation Strategy and the Halton Region Water and Wastewater Allocation Program. There is also a Special Council Meeting on Tuesday, September 11 at 7 p.m. to discuss a new tow truck licensing by-law. Attend the meeting or watch live coverage on our YouTube channel.
