NNWO Priorities for

Fall Congressional Session


As Congress prepares to return from its August recess, the Navajo Nation Washington Office will continue advancing initiatives identified as a priority by the Navajo Nation government. These efforts build on the foundation that NNWO has already laid but will push forward with renewed focus this fall. Listed are a few priorities we will be advancing in the months ahead.

Navajo Nation and Tribal Coalition Continue Support for Grand Canyon's Ancestral Footprints Monument



The Navajo Nation, along with partner tribes and the Grand Canyon Trust, convened in a meeting to review current developments and future planning related to the Baaj Nwaavjo I'tah Kukveni - Ancentral Footprints of the Grand Canyon National Monument.
