This week, President Nygren visited Wááshindoon to advocate for the Parity for Tribal Law Enforcement Act, recently reintroduced by Congressman Newhouse (R-WA-04) and Senator Cantwell (D-WA)


HHS Cuts mRNA Vaccine Funding



On Tuesday, the Department of Health and Human Services ended millions in federal funding for mRNA vaccine research. This decision will likely result in the slowdown of mRNA vaccine development activities under the Biomedical Advanced Research and Development Authority.

President Nygren Meets with Natural Resources Conservation Service Chief Bettencourt



This week, President Nygren met with Chief Bettencourt to move forward efforts that would bring long-overdue agricultural support directly to Navajo farmers and ranchers. A major focus of their conversation revolved around dedicating space for an NRCS office in Window Rock, AZ.
