USDA Strengthens Disease Preparedness Efforts with Launch of New Website

In the past week, the USDA launched Screwworm.gov, a new website that brings together federal resources and updates on the New World Screwworm. Although the parasite is not currently found in the U.S., it has become a major threat to livestock in South America.

Vaccine Coverage Questions Emerge After Meeting with HHS Secretary

Last week, Secretary Kennedy met with a group of governors to discuss federal vaccine policies. Secretary Kennedy stated that even if certain vaccines are removed from the federal recommended vaccine schedule, those vaccines could still remain eligible for insurance coverage.
