The best of friends meet over beer and soccer (football for our overseas members). I first met Russ Rotondi, Founder of CraftLawyer,com, at a Portland Timbers soccer match back in 2016. We quickly learned of our affinity for craft beer and our mutual goal to help craft breweries build successful businesses. I'm proud to introduce you to Russ as our August 2020 Member of the Month! Kristine Bobrosky (Bravery Brewing - Lancaster, California USA) runs a vibrant taproom and started a new forum thread this week on upselling techniques. We love it when our members start new forum threads! We love it even more when members like Rick Wehner (Brewery Finance) chime in with insightful comments and advice. This community is about us helping each other and when you ask for help, I think you will be impressed with the response!

BREWBOUND.COM SHIFTS STRATEGY TO A SUBSCRIPTION MODEL

Citing a lack of revenue from hosting events, Brewbound.com announced last week that they will be ending their freemium business model and shifting to a subscription model. These are tough times for everyone in the global craft beer industry and this announcement gives us pause.

Thank you for supporting our business with your ideas, your passion, and your subscription fees. We are so lucky to get to do what we do and we wouldn't be here if it wasn't for our amazing membership of beer business entrepreneurs. If there are ever any questions we can answer for you, we love to be asked for help. But most of all, thank you, THANK YOU, THANK YOU!
