World Affairs Council of Kentucky and Southern Indiana is the regional hub for international exchange, dialogue, and learning. The organization crafts meaningful connections between the world’s emerging leaders and their industry peers in Kentucky and Southern Indiana through engaging meetings, workshops, volunteer activities, and site visits.

Council leaders and staff (especially if you attend the Conference) should fill out the Planning Committee's
Council Survey by Sunday, September 1. The results will help the committee and WACA determine the topics and workshop sessions for the 2019 Conference Leadership Day (Friday, Nov. 8).
The survey should take no more than 5-10 minutes. Thank you for your participation in the survey; your feedback is valuable to us.

Sustainable Urban Development Tour allows groups of urban professionals to receive an in-depth look at urban planning and city management as they improve the lives of their citizens and plan for the future. Building on the
American Council on Germany’s history of best practice exchanges among urban affairs experts, ACG is conducting a two-part immersive program on sustainable urban development. ACG will bring together American and German practitioners working in urban affairs and sustainability in

WACA relocated your National Office effective August 1! We are excited about our new space at
1010 Vermont Avenue NW, Suite 516, Washington, DC 20005. With this move, WACA is "on our own" for the first time in three decades. We remain downtown and close to think tanks, embassies, and the White House.
The National Office also extends a heartfelt thank-you to our interns,
Olivia Carl,
Alec Scott, and
Sarah Stevens, who have been instrumental in the moving process. Their professionalism, dedication, and hard work throughout the summer has been an integral part of WACA operations. They will be greatly missed, but we wish them all the best as they finish out their undergrad careers and embark on their bright futures.
