WAHOO, MAHI-MAHI, AFRICAN POMPANO, SNOOK & TONS OF SCALLOPS Brought Back to the Sea Hag Marina This Weekend!

Holy cow! What a weekend for fishing! Started off with a group of folks who brought back a 70lb WAHOO! One of the first we've seen in Steinhatchee. Next, the Chase N Fish Charters Crew came back with some big mahi-mahi along with a few other boats. They must have been biting that day! Jed Rountree reeled in an African pompano during his trip offshore. The flats have been productive as well, from snook to trout to lots of SCALLOPS!

Bricen Tedder landed this 34.5 inch snook in Steinhatchee, FL!

WAHOOOOOO!!!

You wouldn’t believe it if we just told you! This 70lb wahoo was caught 50 miles off of Steinhatchee today by Kate Murphy & Price Carter!

They were fishing for red snapper & grouper in approximately 65ft of water using cigar minnows when they hooked up on this catch of a lifetime! This wahoo was 63.75 inches long and had a girth of 28 inches! They fought the fish for 30 minutes before landing! This is one of the first wahoo we’ve seen in Steinhatchee.

What a spectacular catch!

The Wahoo weighed a little over 70lbs!
