Dear brothers and sisters in our Lord Jesus, part of the growing repentance remnant, cleansing as His Bride, getting ready for His soon return as our Bridegroom-----

A shaking is going on globally, which Almighty God is bringing about, to remove all " things that are made, that the things which cannot be shaken may remain" (Hebrews 12:27-29). In the midst of this predicted shaking, today is the day to stop playing lukewarm church, to repent, to convert, to enter His Kingdom, choosing to build the rest of your life on His solid Rock (Matthew 7:24-25). With His indwelling Holy Spirit you can then ask and receive Jesus/Yeshua's unique call on your life: John 15:16. Picking up that Godly assignment, bearing fruit worthy of repentance, witnessing to others God's gift of repentance, will then bring a deep, deep joy and peace which the world and flesh can never provide.

And during the shaking it is also time to WAIT upon Him. Kathleen Mitchell has a good word on this:

“WAIT UPON THE LORD … TO RENEW YOUR STRENGTH OF MIND, HEART, BODY AND SPIRIT!”

Kathleen D. Mitchell … 1/3/24

There is so little quiet … so little peace … so little focus on the Lord in our daily lives. Distractions and pressing needs abound. The truth is this: We will focus upon whatever is our highest priority. So, honestly, what is our/your highest priority in daily life? Is it work? … is it conversations? … is it working our employment job or career? … is it relationships with others? … is it obtaining wealth and material things? … is it staying healthy? … is it taking care of other people (or making them happy) … is it maintaining our homes and possessions? Is the highest priority to always be well informed, or to have ready answers/solutions to this life’s difficult questions and challenges? Is our highest priority to be right, and correct, at all times?  Is it to be heard and understood? Is it to be loved by those around us … or maybe to show others that we love them, so that they finally realize our love? Is the highest priority to thwart trouble, and to outrun any potential threats, pain, and disappointments? Is it to stay young and attractive to others?  Is it to appear perfect, or successful, in the eyes of others?

There are so many traps, drains, and delusions in all of those things. Will we ever be truly satisfied with our level success in any of those priorities? No wonder so many of us are tired, worried, stressed, overwhelmed, fatigued, sick, doubtful, and discouraged. We lack the strength from the Lord to live in the midst of all the chaos and uncertainty, because we have not made our highest priority, and focus, be Him in every situation and in every day. We seem to be unable to do that well or consistently. We are to fly like eagles; those created to live in the high realms of the Spirit, and to breathe the rarified air of the Kingdom of Heaven. And yet, sometimes we feel so earthbound, and so tired or stressed.  I’m sure that by not that all of you recognize that I’m speaking about that promise of the Lord in scripture that declares: “those, who wait upon the Lord will have their strength renewed … they will arise on eagle wings …  run and not grow weary … walk and not faint. Why?  BECAUSE YHVH GIVES STRENGTH to His people, and POWER to His saints. Let’s look at that text for a minute.

Isaiah 40:31

31 But those who wait upon the LORD will renew their strength; they will mount up with wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not faint.

The verse 30, just prior to verse 31 says …

Verse 30 … Even youths grow tired and weary, and young men stumble and fall

Each of us can certainly attest to verse 30 as our reality. We all HAVE sometimes grown very weary. We HAVE STUMBLED from time to time.  BUT … the word BUT follows, in verse 31, the expressed weakness reported in verse 30

In verse 31, the Hebrew word for WAIT is: Transliteration: qavah

Phonetic Spelling: (kaw-vaw')

It a Hebrew verb that means I. [קָוָה] wait for (probably originally twist, stretch, the result of tension of enduring, waiting: be strong, draw strength (that refers to a strand of rope); endure, remain, await.

Something that is really a key factor for me, in my waiting upon the Lord, is to have some silence, and some distance from all the noise and surrounding chaos. We have to believe that there really is a place where we can find some rest.  Honestly, the noise and phrenic activities are everywhere, and they are very difficult to escape at times. Whenever we manage to get away from the hustle, bustle and demands which are hitting us on the exterior, we often get really washed overboard, and into the current, that drives us away from our posture of waiting, because of the interior, mental, and emotional noise hitting us from all sides. Our input streams have been in operating in high gear/high load for several years … while our minds, and emotions, have been working overtime to process all the information and challenges. Our imaginations are continually being engaged in daily life, as a result. Those imaginations have been busy inundating our souls with messages, and images, of formulating potential scenarios and outcomes … of formulating understanding … of searching out reasons/explanations …  of trying to manage changes. Some of those imaginations may not be reality, and they may be seriously unsetting to consider; causing us to lose additional emotional shalom.  And yet they seem to so easily take root in our minds and emotions. No wonder we struggle to find our soul’s footing at times. We’re all working so hard to figure it out. To sort it, or to stash it …  to manage the difficulties or to forget/deny them altogether.

Here are some the very familiar, disturbing, pieces of information that have been thrown at us:

**We have potential global war with China, Iran and Russia in the wings, we are told … right here on American soil, in Europe, in Britain etc.

**Another plandemic IS COMING … this one deadlier than Covid-19.

**Israel is now gearing up for a war on three fronts (Gaza, Judea Samaria, Lebanon), while Mr. O’Biden has convinced Bibi Netanyahu to send 5 brigades (thousands of reserve soldiers) home from Gaza … a command from this perverse White House to deescalate Gaza in order continue to receive American support and weapons supplies. O’Biden actually told Bibi that he was to end the war by Dec. 31st, or to deescalate Israel’s presence in Gaza significantly, by that day. Sadly, Bibi complied a couple days before O’Biden’s deadline.  It appears that a regional war is on the horizon. (I pray that those furloughed soldiers will be resting for redeployment in the north of the West Bank (Judea/Samaria) if it really breaks out there.

**The global Brix financial system, is locked and loaded to take down the American petrodollar in the coming days, and with it, bring down the American economy, and our world trade and supply chains. That will have global impact for a while.

**We are seeing clear evidence that we have toxic elements that have been intentionally added into our food chain, as well as into our air, water, medicines.

**Godless and toxic people, who are holding power … humans, and perhaps not fully humans … who really hate humanity, and who are working diligently, clandestinely, and deceitfully to seize control of the whole planet, and to depopulate the it by 93% before 2030. They are well on their way to obtaining control every aspect of human life, through their stolen authority; applying anti-Biblical, horrifically rebellious, deceitful, and tyrannical global mandates. The whole deluding structure is built upon Satan’s lies and agenda. It needs to be stopped and reverse now.

**Just today, I received a text and video, reporting that some 7-8-foot-tall, black-colored, aliens appeared in a Miami mall this week … threatening to kill people. The elite have been planning this holographic extra-terrestrial invasion scenario to drop down on us for a long time. We have been saturated with predictive programming for years, through television, movies, books, and video games. (“The Day the Earth Stood Still”, “Independence Day”, “ET”, Star Trek, etc.). If they can get the world to believe that there is a genuine planetary invasion threat, from an alien population, they will be able to convince the human populations to surrender all their freedoms to a singular global government to protect them. The elite Luciferians have the holographic technology in place, along with their satellite-housed, and land based, energy weapons, to make their attack both credible and terrifyingly effective.

There are so many more various threats arising, right along with an historic, vast, and ready, supply of information (and disinformation) and resources, for us to consider and to research through the internet. We are living in a bubbling cauldron, and in a deadly 5G soup that permeates every aspect, and every inch, of physical life. While lawlessness and rebelliousness abound … while wicked people/demons plot a deadly course for our world … we are called to live a life in shalom. Will all this satanic activity swirling around us, it is easy to understand why we still must learn how to wait upon the Lord. That necessity is greater now, than in any other time in our lives. So how do we do it?

**1: COME AWAY!  (coming away is a choice) Come away from the priorities and enticements of the world of flesh. Come into a quiet space, even if only in the middle of the night. Come away and His word, into His Spirit, into worship, and thus into His heart. Move away from the media, from entertainment, and from the self-indulgences that we have deemed to be vital for our happiness and comfort. Come away from the television, and from the distractions in order to have some personal quiet time with the Lord. That may take fasting from food, from entertainment, or from habitual busyness, to be quiet for a period of time. But certainly, it will take some serious self-discipline. It might mean retreating to a room in your home for an hour of solitude every day, or as often as possible. However, coming away to be with Him ALWAYS involves a choice regarding how we use our time, our attention, and our resources. Sometimes it’s costly to come away. Somethings, that have demanded the attention of our flesh, do not like to be left behind, delayed, or ignored. Some of the people, who have tried to control us and our time, will need to have a bit of distance applied to them, and a change in priority. The Lord will help us and show us how to come away, if our highest priority and desire is to be with Him. The central question is: How much are we willing to sacrifice to BE WITH YHVH? The choice is ours.

Song of Solomon 2:10

10 My beloved calls to me, “Arise, my darling. Come away with me, my beautiful one

.

Mark 6:31-32

31 And He said to them, “Come with Me privately to a solitary place, and let us rest for a while.” For many people were coming and going, and they did not even have time to eat. 32 So they went away in a boat by themselves to a solitary place.

(GETTING SOLITUDE AWAY FROM OTHER PEOPLE, WHO MAY BE CONTINUALLY PRESSING YOU, IS VITAL. CONSTANT HUMAN CONTACT, AND DEMANDS OF THE CROWDS, CAN DRAIN YOU, WHILE SOLITUDE WITH THE LORD WILL FILL AND RENEW YOU.)

Song of Solomon 8:13-14

13 You who dwell in the gardens, my companions are listening for your voice. Let me hear it! 14 Come away, my beloved, and be like a gazelle or a young stag on the mountains of spices. (THAT SUGGESTS THAT WE COME UP HIGH TO HIS ABIDING PLACE … WHERE THE DIVINE SPICES OF HEALING AND RESTORATION ARE FOUND.)

Revelation 18:4

4 Then I heard another voice from heaven say: “Come out of her, My people, so that you will not share in her sins or contract any of her plagues. (AT SOME POINT, COMING AWAY WILL MAKE THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN LIFE AND DEATH … BETWEEN BLESSING AND MISSING OUT.)

Jeremiah 51:50

50 You who have escaped the sword, depart and do not linger! Remember the LORD from far away, and let Jerusalem come to mind.

Zechariah 7:7

7Get up, O Zion! Escape, you who dwell with the Daughter of Babylon!” 8For this is what the LORD of Hosts says: “After His Glory has sent Me against the nations that have plundered you—for whoever touches you touches the apple of His eye—

**2: BE STILL … being still is a choice!

Be silent, and stop moving … stop allowing your mind to fly around like a buzzing bee. FOCUS on Him. Tell yourself to shut up and sit down. It doesn’t matter what pressing things are being demanded of you. You won’t do them well … you won’t maintain your peace and your strength until you start with YHVH. If you move ahead without Him, you will get worn out in the process of trying to succeed. Worship Him.  Seek His presence and rest in Him. Allow the world to spin around without you attending to it for a while. Let other people fade in the background and focus on the Lord.  The things that you are hearing in your head to distract you, need to be told that they are not important in the moment with the Lord. Listen to your heart beat, and stretch out in the Spirit to hear His heart.

Ps 46:9

9 He makes wars to cease throughout the earth; He breaks the bow and shatters the spear; He burns the shields in the fire. 10 “Be still and know that I am God; I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted over the earth.” 11 The LORD of Hosts is with us; the God of Jacob is our fortress. Selah

1 Kings 19:12

12 After the earthquake there was a fire, but the LORD was not in the fire. And after the fire came a still, small voice

How is it possible to hear a still small voice in the midst of earthquake storms and fire? BE STILL AND LISTEN WITH FULL FOCUS … and expect to hear Him.

Mark 4:

39 Then Jesus got up and rebuked the wind and the sea. “Silence!” He commanded.Be still!” And the wind died down, and it was perfectly calm. 40 “Why are you so afraid?” He asked. Do you still have no faith?”

Once we have chosen to come away, and to be still, we must take the next step into shalom, in our  waiting, by BELIEVING

3: BELIEVE … believing is a choice

He will never leave us nor forsake us … Nothing is impossible to Him … What He begins, He completes … He does all things well. His promises are faithful, and His word is truth. Nothing can separate us from the love of YHVH in Messiah … no one can take us out of His hand. His love endures forever. He knows the end from the beginning.  As He is with us in life, He will be with us in death. Death has been defeated, so there is nothing to fear. WE MUST BELIEVE IT TO LIVE IN SHALOM! We can build our faith by going into the word and into deep worship. Join with other Kingdom citizens to share faith, life, worship, and study in the word. Your faith will arise as will unity the Spirit; strengthening each member of the Body, and renewing hope and vision for what is possible right now.

(This is one site, as an example, that you can visit to allow the worship to build and to permeate your soul:  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8xs_wiKWZuc

**Now, pause for a minute right now, to think of the scriptures that give you encouragement and hope. What are they? What ones tell you that the Lord is sovereign, and that He cares about every detail of your life … and that He loves you unconditionally. Speak them out. DO YOU REALLY BELIEVE THEM WITHOUT A DOUBT? What does Satan, and the world, present to you, to convince you that you are not loved, not safe, not secure, not noticed, and not enough? What are you hearing from the flesh, and from the dark side that tries to make you fearful and doubtful? What prompts you to want to rise up to take things into your own hands? Grab hold of the scriptures that speak the truth … the opposite of what satan and the world is telling you. Hold onto them, write them out, speak them out, and declare them frequently …  as you draw strength and peace from His word … and while you wait in confidence to see what He will do. YHVH IS ALWAYS FAITHFUL AND RIGHT ON TIME!

HAND OVER the scary, confusing, and difficult things to Him, and allow the Lord to hold them for you. Allow Him to tell you about them, rather than researching the web, or applying your imagination to figuring things out. LISTEN!  Sit in the quiet until you hear; but then believe what you hear from Him. He will confirm in the scriptures what He tell you in the Spirit, if you sit quietly and wait. In this way, you can keep your shalom, as well as keep His truth in your perspective. How will we be able to help others come to shalom, unless we ourselves practice these disciplines, and are exercised in holding onto His shalom, ourselves?

Setting aside the Hebrew word for “wait” in the Isaiah text, just for fun, let’s use an English definition that can be applied to the words WAIT UPON.

If you go to a restaurant, we you have “WAIT STAFF” … servers, waiters, bussers, etc.  Their job is to attend to your every desire and need. If you ask for something, they are supposed to be on hand to bring it. If the diner tells a waiter that what he/she has brought is not correct, according to what was ordered … or if the item is substandard in quality or in preparation … the waiter is not supposed to argue with the customer, but should make the corrections according to that diner’s requests and assessments.

If the Lord is the diner in this scenario, and we are those, who are called to WAIT UPON HIM, shouldn’t we be doing things differently? Shouldn’t we be more available, and more attentive? More submissive to His requests?  Shouldn’t we have the desire to please Him and to satisfy his every desire; agreeing with His assessments regarding what we are serving up to Him … or regarding our quality of service being rendered to Him?  If He says we are not providing what He requested, shouldn’t we make it a priority to immediately work to provide that request thing to Him? If He says that something we are presenting Him is not right … shouldn’t we be eager to make it right … asking Him, specifically, how He wants the changes to be made … to satisfy what He determines is necessary? It’s time to WAIT UPON HIM as our personal service of deep love and honor to His name.

Our obedience to the Lord must not ever be seen, or used, as a bribe, to Him, so that we might receive good things (like a tip). Our time, our attention, our obedience, etc. is our service ... our humble honor, His due, and our job. If He gives us the extra things (the little perks and the various blessings) to thank us for our obedience and service, we must not ever consider those gifts and kindnesses, as our entitlement … like something HE OWES US … (as so many human servers, working in restaurants, believe the tip to be their entitlement regardless of their attention given, or the quality of their service they rendered).

Perhaps, as this New Year unfolds before us, the best thing that we could do, so that we enter into the life challenges of 2024 as overcomers, filled with joy and peace, is for us to be intentional about waiting on the Lord. Here is how we can develop intentionality in this area.

**BY not rushing ahead with activities, decisions, and solutions, but rather seeking Him for everything, every day. Being with the Lord, and seeking His counsel, doesn’t have to be time spent for hours every day in silence like a monk in the desert. We can choose to make Him the centrality of our day, as well as our companion throughout the day. Don’t react or be compulsive. Take time to consider decisions in His presence.

**BY seeking His heart and perspective, regarding the difficult things coming at us, before we form strategies and conclusions.

**BY coming away from the television, the computer, the cell phone, and the entertainment habits that eat up the hours of our days, as well as our peace and purpose.

**BY starting and by ending your day with Him every day. Just a little time of adoration, quiet, listening, and declaring your faith in Him.

**BY sacrificing for Him … maybe in a time of fasting … maybe by dying to ourselves, and not speaking our mind in the anger we feel toward someone … maybe by giving up some sleep to keep watch in prayer. Give up a little selfishness at least once a day.

**BY being mindful of Him throughout each day; considering what He might want or do in a situation … by conversing with the Lord as we drive, shower, etc.

**By offloading the concerns, and the emotions arising from problems and conflicts as they occur … by offloading the guilt of bad choices and of failures when they arise in our face … by handing over troublesome people and relationship into His care and counseling. YHVH will advise us in all matters as we CHOOSE to come to Him, to focus upon Him, to listen to Him, and to believe as we obey Him.

I truly believe that 2024 is going to be a great year, as we make YHVH the highest priority, and serve Him our greatest joy. Isn’t He supposed to be our first and highest love? Let’s demonstrate our utmost priority and love, given to Him this year, by waiting upon Him. In doing so, we will find our strength renewed, our hope assured, and our victories accomplished. It’s all good in Him, it’s all good by Him, and it’s all good with Him.  Happy New Year!

Love and blessings to each of you!

Kathleen
