YOUR SUPPORT.....
Motion Project Foundation, through its Quality of Life Grant Program, awards supplemental grants to clients who are receiving intense activity-based therapy at The Natalie Barnhard Center for Spinal Cord Injury Rehabilitation and Recovery. These supplemental grants provide financial assistance giving clients like Robbie and Paul the opportunity for additional treatment sessions as this type of rehabilitation is not covered by insurance.

Motion Project Foundation cannot do this without you!!

Your support means so much to us and the many Grant recipients. It is with your generosity that individuals with a spinal cord injury and other neurological disorders are able to receive the much needed activity-based rehabilitation for their recovery. Healing the body also includes healing the mind and the spirit.
How you help....

Rob, at 23 years old, suffered a spinal cord injury when competing as a record holder for snowboarding leaving Rob a quadriplegic. Rob was immediately taken to one of the best rehabilitation centers in the country, Craig Hospital in Colorado. As Rob began his recovery process, he could not stay in Colorado as his family and friends were in Buffalo. Upon his return, he realized there was no where to receive that specialized rehabilitation that he had gotten at Craig - until Motion Project. With your support, Rob receives a supplemental grant to help cover this state of the art, specialized rehabilitation right here in Buffalo.

Paul and his wife were in an automobile accident last July. His wife suffered serious injuries and thankfully was released from the hospital. Paul however was left paralyzed from the waist down. After his traditional rehabilitation was over, Paul knew he needed more. His left leg had some movement and Paul wanted to work to increase his strength to hopefully walk again. Paul has been attending Motion Project with the help of the supplemental grant and is working on strengthening those muscles. Paul's goal is to be able to walk again.
