Lady living in her village of plastic!
"There is an obvious plastic pollution crisis on our hands.
Its effects are visible all around us, in some areas of the globe more so than others."
Greetings!
We are witnessing spring arrivals in the Northwest. Once dormant trees now show signs of a renewed growth. Cherry trees are putting forth their new blossoms with an assurance that warmer weather is around the corner. A changing season reminds us that nothing can be taken for granted, all things change whether we are ready for them or not.

Here in the Northwest, we recently experienced an ice/snow storm that we have not seen in many years. Hundreds of thousands lost electrical power and had to survive on their own capabilities for many days. Locally, numerous stores were forced to close, which meant no food. Many of these types of unexpected situations bring out the best and creative ways in all of us, and some of us are not equipped to handle these changes. Texas can also testify to this.

As we all heard, to one degree or another, many people in Texas lost modern conveniences, homes, electricity, the ability to keep warm, and to cook food. Most importantly potable water. Residents were told to boil their water because it was unsafe to drink. We here in The United States take modern conveniences for granted, and potable water is a big one. Thousands of gallons of bottled water were shipped and distributed to a multitude of residents. When you stop to consider how this is possible, it boggles the mind.

Consider the aftermath of such a disaster. What happened to the thousands of empty plastic bottles? As you can see in the opening photo, some plastics land in locations all over the world. Check out the online links of how some of us are helping with this global problem.
Inasmuch, as some say that our WAPIs are made of plastic, and they are! Dr. Metcalf, Ph.D., and world-renowned microbiologist has indicated that the polycarbonate poses no health threat to humans when used to heat water. Dr. Metcalf did the biological studies on the WAPI at California State University in Sacramento.

I have had the privilege to visit several foreign locations and see that environmental effects are the last thing on people’s minds, survival is the topic of consideration. I have seen piles upon piles of plastic bottles used for heating liquids or used as kindling. Many just wind up in rivers or oceans, just thrown away, or left by the side of the road.

Our WAPI (Water Pasteurization Indicator) is used and reused for countless years and is completely reliable. No chemicals to rely on or expiration date, and no limit to the good that the WAPI furnishes. To date, we have over 90,000 units that have been distributed around the world to people in desperate need of potable water.

The need for potable water is ever increasing throughout the world and our WAPIs are given to those in need. Consider having one on hand for unexpected disasters such as what happened in Texas. (WAPI prices are at the bottom of this email.)

We here in Portland, Oregon have been instructed to boil our water in recent years because of sewage leaks into our water supply. Can you imagine how much energy use is demanded in our city if we all boiled water at the same time! It can happen anywhere, even in the most sophisticated environments. When you boil water, all the vital minerals your body requires have been eliminated. You are just drinking liquid, no nutrition! This has been termed "dead water."
Our WAPI distribution has slowed a bit, but we continue to produce them and give them away to countries. Project Global Village in Honduras has received 2,000 units since their two hurricane disasters back in November. We just sent 300 WAPIs to Haiti and have many requests for more from our African brothers and sisters. Gabon, Africa has started distributing WAPIs now that their nation has softened it's COVID 19 restrictions. We are preparing units for Pakistan as well when they open their doors again.

Consider purchasing one or more WAPIs for emergency use or camping, maybe on your next hunting trip. Give them to your homeless community.

We are a 501(c)3 non-profit organization and are willing to work with any and all community organizations. Feel free to contact us, together we can make a difference, one thirsty family at a time.

With Warm Regards,

250 Major Brands Pledge to Cut All Plastic Waste, But Will They Keep Their Promise?
There is an obvious plastic pollution crisis on our hands. Its effects are visible all around us, in some areas of the globe more so than others. The shocking images of choked wildlife and piles of plastic waste in our communities and ecosystems have intensified public concern. It is difficult to get people to stop buying food because it is packaged in plastic. Stores are making it so we have to buy food this way! What are we supposed to do, not eat?

Why We Need to Stop Plastic Pollution in Our Oceans FOR GOOD
Our oceans are being filled and killed by throwaway plastics. But together, we can create a movement to reduce throwaway plastic at the source and save our oceans. Oceana and our allies are already winning plastic-free victories – victories that aren't possible without your help.

It's a great way to introduce WAPIs.
